Flipping back to the positive, a new release for Ground Level means another piece of design for music goes out to the ether today too. This time round its Joe C with the track ‘Kamikaze’ and a remix from label boss Andy McAllister, which you can listen to (and buy… *coughs*) here.

Another piece of work for Fisso & Spark. This weighty track needed an appropriate image to fit it, so the picto-brain wrangled pixels to make this composite:

Pictographik was asked by Ground Level records to create a piece of artwork that’s inspired by some of Shepard Fairey’s prints.  So, here is the result, an illustration for the forthcoming Joe C release (Twitter), the ‘Shakedown’ ep, available on October 29th. All of the decoration and pattern is line drawings of parts of technic 1210’s… it seemed appropriate.

Another piece of download artwork for Ground_Level records. Blimey, another year passsed and what a productive year it was. It began with cd artwork for the A Plastic Rose guys (with more underway at present); picking up a new client and receiving regular artwork requests from Ground Level records main man and legend Andy McAllister; doing a spread for From Dusk 2 Dawn magazine and getting artwork in too; making it into the first edition of the highly contentious C A R S O N magazine that was designed/not designed by David Carson (now known as ‘Untitled magazine‘, making the first edition more collectable I guess!?); curating a live digital art event called Pixel Synthesis [blog here] in Quad [website here] (thanks for your continuous support team Quad); a ukulele themed charity tee shirt design for local music shop Foulds and finishing with getting  a mention in the ComputerArts magazines December inspiration list on their blog. Phew.

And this year is already off to a good start with a new client! Happy New Year folks, lets hope its a good one for all of us, eh?!
